Inline Hockey Floor
As in any sport, the surface is an important element. In roller hockey, the surface makes all the difference, nothing else really matters. A fast game is exciting for the players and thrilling for the audience. And IceCourt EXXESS is the fastest skating surface in the world with specific, patented design elements to speed up the game of inline hockey.
"IceCourt is the only surface that is designed specifically for inline hockey" Charlie Yoder, Head Coach, USA National Inline Hockey Team
The modules click together without the slightest gap or seam for the puck to catch. The surface perforation releases air pressure build-up underneath the fast inline puck so it never tilts or wobbles. They also dampen noise, preventing the common sound of skating on empty boxes; the holes also allow moisture to evaporate after scrubbing the floor with liquid. Tiny pin-heads reduce the friction of the puck, which glides magically as if on ice.
The wheel grip is perfect. The patented surface profile creates a secure sense of skate contact. During high speeds, the wheels only touch the top layer of the surface for low friction; during tight turns and acceleration the wheels dig into the edges and bottom of the profile for maximum grip and skating maneuverability. We've even created special silicon-soaked panels within the Goalkeeper's crease for side-slip maneuvers.
This perfect surface led ESPN - Pro Beach Hockey to choose IceCourt, as well as FIRS and the IIHF for their World Championships, Canadian Inline, AAU and virtually every professional tournament organizer in the USA, such as PIHA, State Wars, Topcat and 2Hot4Ice. Around the world, IceCourt is the Official Surface for National Championships: in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, England, Spain and Finland.
