SofPad™
is a patented high performance drainage and impact cushioning
layer. It combines all the benefits of fast drainage
with a unique “impact profile” that provides
superior safety properties not attainable in many of
today’s traditional playground surface materials.
VersaLawn™ Sof500 tuf is a unique
blend of polyethylene monofilament fibers and nylon
thatch layers. The combination of these fibers gives
the turf its very soft, plush carpet like feel. The
nylon thatch layer gives turf the bounce and resiliency
characteristics needed in a playground application.
It also hides the sand infill used to hold system firmly
in place. The shades of green in the nylon and polyethylene
fibers give the turf a very natural appearance. VersaLawn™
Sof500 simulates a fine blade fescue or blue grass creating
a beautiful turf that never needs mowing, fertilizer
or water.
SofPlay™ Infill…The SofPlay™
system can be filled with common sand available at local
lumber yards or home improvement stores, or our proprietary
SofFill, a round acrylic coated round quartz sand that
is completely anti-microbial.
